Occasional you may need to replace this weather stripping to maintain the draft seal between the flap and frame. Replacement brush weather stripping is available in 10 ft. lengths and very low cost so that you can easily maintain this feature of your MaxSeal pet door.

    Great Weather Stripping

    Well, after nearly ten years the weather stripping on our cat door was worn out in sections. This weather stripping, while slightly different in texture, fit perfectly. The instructions that came with the item were quite clear. The new weather stripping installed with no problems. The magnets were very tight in the frame, but reinstalled with no problems.

    My old weatherstrip was in bad shape so while replacing flaps I replaced the seal. My door is like new again
